The installation was super straightforward — no drilling or complicated wiring. It fits most standard wood doors (about 35–60 mm thick) and simply replaces your existing handle/lock without a huge hassle. The real selling point for me was the Matter-over-Thread support. Once paired through my Apple Home setup (with a Thread border router like HomePod mini), the lock showed up immediately and reliably in the app without the need for cloud-based control or a distant hub. That’s big — if your Wi-Fi drops, the lock still responds because it uses Thread’s local mesh network. Also priced very well compared to other locks in the market.
